Pollen Allergy – Big issue in Japan

Spring is coming! Spring is nice season, flowers are blooming, weather is warm and there are many people who start new life.

But there is something which bothers us. It is “Pollen Allergy”, especially cedar pollen and Japanese cypress pollen.

It is said that one out of five have pollen allergy in Japan.
The main symptoms are sneezing, running nose, cough, eyes and skin are itchy.
It lasts until around end of June which is very hard…


To ease some symptoms, people wear masks and take medicine for allergy.
