Jyuku – Going to cram school is almost common sense in Japanese society

In Japan, it is difficult to pass the entrance exam but easy to graduate a school.
Nothing can start without entering preferred school, so it is common sense to go to cram school to pass entrance exam.

The lesson contents in regular school are thought that not enough in Japan thus many students go to cram school.

If you want go to private junior high, you need to start going to cram school from 10years old at latest.

If parents want children to go to private elementary school, they start going to cram school from like 3 years old.

The merit of passing exam of private junior high or elementary school is that they will have no more entrance exam until university entrance exam since most of private junior high or elementary school introduce a system integrating junior and senior high school.


Anyways, it is for certain that kids have no time to play…
