Recently I knew that eating a cake and
chicken in Christmas is a custom in Japan only. It might not be only Japan,
though it’s true that it’s not a custom of every country in the world.
Why I knew it is that one of my friends who
lives in the U.S. told me about it. She said she is busy to bake ham (a big
chuck of ham) and many cookies for Christmas which is common there. She said
people there (she thinks most people in the U.S.) don’t have a custom to eat a
cake and chicken like Japan in Christmas.
In Japan we see advertisements of cakes and
chicken for Christmas in December. And in the night of the Christmas people eat
them to celebrate Christmas. Is it strange?
