How Many Times we experience earthquake in a year.

Japan is an earthquake ridden country. We experience many earthquake in a year, then how many times do we experience them?

According to Japanese Meteorological bureau, average times of earthquake happened in a year from 2001 to 2010, M3.0-3.9: 3800, M4.0-4.9: 900, M5.0-5.9: 140, M6.0-6.9: 17, M7.0-7.9: 3, above M8: 0.2.

It is a lot comparing with other country. Thus we study how to deal with earthquake in school and participate earthquake drill.

Even companies need to conduct emergency drill once in a year.
