Have you ever experienced the traditional Japanese food at riverbed in Kyoto?
It is called as “Nouryoudoko” or “Kawadoko” means to have lunch or dinner at the riverbed. It is a summer tradition in Japan which only opens from May to September.
The famous riverbed is in Kibune, Kyoto. The place is apart with the urban noise, nice and quiet environment with a small murmur of river. You can stay cool and comfortable so as to forget summer heat.
It is one of the famous tourist attraction in Kyoto and many tourists come and visit every year. There are also Kibune shrine nearby if you want to visit.
