An earthquake‐ridden country- Japan. What can we do for it?

As you may know Japan is an earthquake-ridden country. There are many active fault zones in Japan and it is said that a big earthquake will hit Japan soon or later.

What we can do is limited, we cannot prevent an earthquake, whatever we do, we must face it. What we can do and need to do is to “Reduce damage” which will be caused by coming earthquake.

For example, we can discuss where to gather when earthquake disaster happens among family members, we can prepare disaster kit or secure a large or high furniture not to fall over.
